LAST BRIT standing Cam Norrie gained some Ashes “redemption” by beating Aussie Jordan Thompson to reach the last eight at the cinch Championships.

And the British No.1 is now only three wins away from claiming his first grass-court title.

Norrie watched Andy Murray lose to Aussie Alex de Minaur here on Tuesday, before Pat Cummins’ side sealed a dramatic first Test win at Edgbaston.
