• 1½ cups warmed honey

• 1 cup milk

• 125g melted butter

• 1 egg

• 1 cup plain flour

• 2/3 cup wholemeal plain flour

• 2 tsp baking powder

• 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

• 1 tsp nutmeg

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• ¼ tsp ground cloves

• ½ cup chopped pecans

• creme fraiche, raspberries, to serve

1 Lightly grease and line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper.
