NOW WE ARE SIX!

2018

Born at 11.01am on the 23 April and weighing 8lb 7oz, the Prince and Princess of Wales' newest addition was the talk of the nation, as royal fans and photographers lined the streets waiting for a glimpse of the baby who was then fifth in line to the throne.

And it was well worth the wait when the excited royal couple carried the sleeping Prince - younger brother of George, then four, and Charlotte, two - on to the steps of the Lindo Wing at London's St Mary's Hospital around seven hours later. On 27 April, a name was finally announced - Louis Arthur Charles.

It was a busy year for the royals, with the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle less than a month later, followed by numerous 70th birthday celebrations for the then Prince Charles, who was pictured at the time cuddling his youngest grandchild.

The christening, on 9 July in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace, was a chance to see the new family of five together. Princess Charlotte stole the show, telling photographers 'You're not coming' to the family reception.
