A CHESHIRE business community is teaming up to put on its first ever Summer Social.

The group of a dozen independent businesses that make up Top Farm in Farndon are organising the event to showcase what they do. It will bring together businesses which include beauty and hair, food, flowers, gifting, interiors and homeware.

Members of the public are invited to come along to the event on Sunday, May 4 between 2pm and 4pm.

As well as live music, there will be a barbecue, pizza, beer, wine and soft drinks - all in Top Farm Courtyard just off the High Street in Farndon.

Helen Knox, founder of interior designers Lewis Knox, said: “We love being at Top Farm in Farndon. We moved in four years ago and it's been great to see like-minded businesses being based here too.

“We thought it was about time we celebrated the special businesses we have here and welcomed the community in, as the village is such a great place to work, live and socialise in.”
