Investigation after pupil ‘assaulted' teacher at school

AN ALLEGED assault on a teacher by a pupil is being investigated by the police.

South Wales Police confirmed an incident happened at Ysgol Bae Baglan, Port Talbot on Monday, September 22.
A force spokesperson said: "An investigation into this incident is currently under way. The Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the school on Tuesday September 23, and a youth engagement officer [was due] to attend on Thursday, September 25."
Neath Port Talbot council said it was aware of the incident.
