The boot of Harri Wilde proved crucial for Cardiff

CARDIFF head coach Dan Fish hailed his side's fighting spirit after they came from behind to secure a late 31-26 victory at Carmarthen Quins and end their three-game losing streak in Super Rygbi Cymru.

Inside centre Tom Williams scored the game’s decisive try in the 76th minute to secure a bonus-point win on the road for the Blue and Blacks to move above the Quins into third in the table.

Prop Ioan Emanuel scored in the first half for Cardiff, with hooker Alun Rees and outside centre Elijah Evans joining Williams on the scoresheet in the second.

Fly-half Harri Wilde added the extras to all four tries and kicked a penalty.
