KEDDIE TRY ENDS TORRID WAIT FOR WIN

THE Dragons have finally ended their long wait for a win in 2025 after stunning Lyon with a remarkable 23-21 comeback victory in the second round of the European Challenge Cup.

Playing 364 days since their last victory - which came against Newcastle in the same competition - Filo Tiatia’s side looked as though they were heading for yet another defeat as they trailed by 15 points with a quarter of an hour left to play.

But tries from Harri Keddie and Oli Burrows set up an unlikely grandstand finish at Rodney Parade, before Keddie went over again in the final minute to tie the game.

While he had missed earlier opportunities from the tee, Angus O’Brien kept his composure to send the winning kick sailing through the posts, which was met by roars from the home crowd.
