The Spy is used to betrayal. For example, there was that one time when Randy Pitchford assured The Spy that Duke Nukem Forever was going to be the FPS of the decade. Betrayed! Or there was that time when Peter Molyneux told The Spy that Fable was going to let gamers plant an acorn in the ground and, over the course of the game, watch it grow into a tree. Betrayed! Oh, and of course, there are the countless times over the past two decades that The Spy has watched so-called insiders on social media platforms inform gamers that 'Half-Life 3 is confirmed!' and that it is 'launching imminently'. Betrayed!
