Magic of Harry Potter lives on as fans mark wizard's birthday

Pack your wand, hop on your broomstick and play a game of Quidditch to celebrate Harry Potter's birthday on July 31.

The date is also the birthday of JK Rowling, the author of the wonderful wizard wheezes.
Harry James Potter is the protagonist of her fictional book series. He first appeared in Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, published in 1997.
The books also became a blockbuster film franchise, starring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry and Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as his best mates Hermoine Granger and Ron Weasley.
