Greedy Whites boss Farke still not entirely happy with vital away point
Yorkshire Evening Post
|December 16, 2025
Leeds United boss Daniel Farke was caught between his belief that they should have beaten Brentford and seeing the value in a point from a hard-earned 1-1 draw on Sunday.
The Bees have compiled a fantastic record at the Gtech Community Stadium this season, beating teams higher up the table and scoring plenty of goals along the way. Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all failed to win at Brentford, so a 1-1 draw was a result many Whites supporters would have settled for prior to kickoff. But the way the game went and the chances his side created left Farke feeling like they could have gone back up the road with all three.
"I'm still a bit in between, I thought we should have won this game," he said. "It was tight overall but, in the crucial statistics, big chances, in possession we were dominating. I wanted to go for it and win it after the late equaliser.
