Paul hits right note with a cancer charity concert
The Tiverton Gazette
|September 30, 2025
MID Devon musician Paul Smith is hoping his next concert performance will hit all the right notes for an important local charity that is close to his heart.
-
Paul, from Tverton, will be playing with the Lympstone Band this weekend in an event that is raising funds towards the work of the Force support centre in Exeter.
The retired sales director and his wife Lynne know firsthand how important the centre is after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2024.
He had brachytherapy in August and finished 23 doses of radiotherapy in September. He was midway through his cancer treatment when he and wife, Lynne, discovered Force and said it helped them immensely.
