NMPs Public calls made to invite all to submit names of suitable candidates

Since the Nominated Members of Parliament (NMP) scheme began in 1990, public calls have consistently been made to invite the general public to submit the names of suitable NMP candidates to the Special Select Committee on Nominations for Appointment as NMPs (SSC) for consideration. These invitations are publicised through press releases detailing the application proces
