Dube bids farewell to Spirit of Praise

RENOWNED gospel singer, preacher, and music producer Reverend Benjamin Dube has officially announced his departure from the Spirit of Praise collective, bringing to a close a remarkable chapter that has deeply impacted South African gospel music.
The announcement was made on Monday, April 14, 2025, through an official statement issued by Dube Connection on behalf of Rev. Dube. The move, which the gospel icon described as “not made lightly,’ follows a period of deep reflection, prayer, and consultation with key stakeholders.
“This decision was not made lightly,’ the statement read. “Spirit of Praise has been an important part of Rev. Dube’s ministry journey over the years”
