PORT Vale have been awarded EFL Family Excellence 'Silver' status for 2024/25.
-
The Family Excellence Scheme rewards clubs in their efforts to deliver an outstanding matchday family experience.
First launched in 2006/07, it revolves around 'mystery fan' visits made to all EFL clubs each season, with family assessors reporting back on their experiences across a range of touchpoints.
The club’s individual report showed “a very good, consistent matchday experience at Port Vale.”
In particular, the assessment highlighted the following:
1, New visitors are able to plan their visit thanks to a detailed fan guide which leaves them feeling informed and welcome.
2, At Vale Park, there is a strong family feel, with games for kids, a range of food choices and music creating a friendly atmosphere.
3, The club’s mascot, Boomer, right, engages with kids before, during and after the game, creating great memories.
