BATMAN and Robin made their first appearance on American TV 60 years.
The masked superheroes started making life difficult for the crime world on January 12, 1966 ... and lots of famous faces wanted to be villains.
Frank Sinatra wanted to play The Joker and Dame Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Kennedy and Gregory Peck all tried to get a part in a “wall climb” scene.
Those who made it as guest villains included Bruce Lee as Kato, Vincent Price as Egghead, Joan Collins as Siren and Liberace as Chandell.
