Families in Stoke-on-Trent can access vital support to keep their homes warm this winter.

The city council, working with the Midlands Net Zero Hub, has secured funding through the Government's national Warm Homes: Local Grant scheme to support homes across the Potteries with energy efficiency upgrades. The council is working with Community Home Solutions, which is helping it engage with householders and manage applications for the grant

If your current energy performance certificate is D, E, F or G and you own your own home or you are a private tenant you could be eligible to receive:

■Insulation and ventilation upgrades - to help keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer:

■A low-carbon heating system, such as an air source heat pump - where this offers an affordable solution for your household;
