After 26 hours of disruption, traffic on the Thamarassery Ghat Road was partially restored by 9 pm on Wednesday. Vehicles stranded at Adivaram in Kozhikode and Lakkidi in Wayanad were allowed to pass, but Wayanad District Collector D R Meghashree informed the route would be closed again once the backlog was cleared.
