The new Xbox-branded handheld gaming devices from Microsoft and Asus would have been utterly unthinkable just a few years ago - and the idea that you can cram enough power and battery life into something this small still beggars belief.
And yet here we are this week, welcoming the ROG Xbox Ally and its more powerful sibling, the ROG Xbox Ally X. Well, almost - they won't actually hit the shops until close to Christmas.
But we've some specs to go at in anticipation of the release - both sport a 7in 1080p screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
