SILENT TREATMENT Protestors make point at Hoops' clash with Hibs

- MICHAEL GANNON

THE Celtic board have been given the roasting - and now they're getting the silent treatment.

We've all been there. There's been times when it's been all picture and no sound in my gaff when the Mrs goes in a huff.

It's sometimes best to leave them to it and enjoy a bit of peace.

Usually it turns out okay and they break the ban soon enough to start round two of the barney.

You suspect that might be the case with Celtic as well. The under-fire directors are hoping this is a blowup-and-blow-over job and they won't have to sleep on the couch for much longer.

They were probably not too fussed with the attempted quiet for 12 minutes against Hibs - at least the supporters weren't chanting for them to go.
