Sean lauds depleted side's character as road drought KO'd

SEAN EVERITT declared his boys' character is never in question as Edinburgh won on the road for the first time this season.

But it called for a massive backs-to-the-wall showing after they were pegged back from a 15-0 lead in Treviso.

The win at the Stadio Monigo was their first victory in four, giving their URC playoff hopes a massive boost.

Duhan van der Merwe, Ewan Ashman, Dylan Richardson and Boan Venter were all ruled out of the trip.

They joined longer-term injured internationals such as Sam Skinner and Luke Crosbie, while veteran lock Grant Gilchrist pulled out before the game with a dead leg.
