Connor on way up as KLM crown on horizon

CONNOR SYME will take a two-shot lead into today’s final round of the KLM Open after soaring to a bogey-free Saturday.

The Scot produced an eagle three on the third thanks to a 40-foot putt to move within one of then leader Joakim Lagergren.

And he followed it up with three back-nine birdies to sign for a five-under 66, sending him to 10 under as he hunts down a first DP World Tour title.
