Desperate Daisy who faints 40 times a day 'saved' by miracle dog

WONDER dog Jarvis has a life-saving skill that’s not to be sniffed at — and Daisy Cottle-Bailey is eternally grateful for it.

The trainee barrister has been given a new lease of life thanks the medical detection dog, who alerts her when she is about to collapse.

Daisy had dropped out of university as a heart condition made her faint 40 times a day. She would wake up on the pavement, in a shop, or at her college, often badly injured.

Living with postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTs), which causes her heart rate to rise rapidly and without warning, for the past decade had left her scared to go out.

"It was so bad I once fainted with a full kettle of boiling water in my hand, burning my chest and arms, and needing to be rushed to hospital," Daisy said.
