Uni leaders 'must end antisemitism or lose funding'

UNIVERSITIES have been told to crack down on campus antisemitism or risk losing government funding.

Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson wrote to vice-chancellors, urging them to take "practical and proportionate steps" to protect Jewish students from harassment.

It comes in the wake of the Manchester synagogue attack, and amid concern that protests against the conflict in Gaza fuel prejudice.
