BARRY FERGUSON believes a ruthless clear-the-air summit can help Rangers bash Bilbao.
The Light Blues interim boss was blazing after his side's woeful 2-0 Ibrox defeat by Hibs at the weekend.
Ferguson held a crunch meeting with his squad first thing Monday morning to get straight to the heart of issues that have contributed to five consecutive home defeats.
And he hopes a strong exchange of opinions can have the desired effect as his team tackle tournament "favourites" Athletic in tonight's Europa League quarter-final first leg.
Ferguson said: "I aired my views, so did my staff and so did the players, which I was happy with. As I've said before, we've been too quiet. So it was good.
"A lot of things came out, which was good, I want people to be opinionated. I want people to debate with each other and I found it really helpful.
