EE is offering some lucky UK homes the chance to test out the ultimate broadband upgrade for free.

The telecoms giant is running a trial that will whizz the web into rooms at rapid speeds exceeding 7.5Gbps.

At that rapid rate, it would take a matter of seconds to download a full HD Hollywood movie. It's also perfect for busy homes full of connected gadgets or for anyone downloading endless games on to their consoles.

The limited-time offer will become available later this month in pilot areas including Guildford and Woking in Surrey.
