A RUNCORN man was left stunned when he opened his front door expecting a plasterer - and instead found out he'd won a brand-new car and £50,000 in cash, worth a total of £90,000.

I was expecting a plasterer, but instead I'd won £90k of prizes

Antony Kewley was at home on leave when he received the shock of a lifetime - discovering a £40,000 Volkswagen Golf GTI parked outside his house, with a suitcase full of cash hidden in the boot.

The 48-year-old had won the prizes through online competition firm BOTB’s weekly Dream Car Competition and BOTB presenter Katie Knight turned up at his home to surprise him with the incredible news.

“I honestly thought it was the plasterer turning up!” he said. “The last couple of days have been a whirlwind. I’ve watched so many videos of other people winning and dreamt of it myself, but never thought it would actually happen.”
