Portretkunstenaar en produkontwerper Leandré Coetzee het op 10-jarige ouderdom al begin verf en sê sy het verlief geraak op skilder en die maak van produkte, omdat dit vir haar 'n manier is om haarself uit te druk en net haarself te wees.
Van jongs af het Leandré portrette geskilder en ook produkte gemaak, soos skulphouers vir juweliersware van seeskulpe wat sy tydens vakansies op die strand opgetel het. "Met skilderye en portrette skep ek gewoonlik met 'n kombinasie van impressionisme, abstrak en realisme - skilderye wat 'n storie vertel eerder as om net mooi te wees."
Sy vertel dat sy al 'n paar uitstallings in en buite die provinsie bygewoon het waar sy haar werk uitgestal het.
"Die meeste van die uitstallings word gewoonlik deur die nie-winsgewende organisasie Heart Drive gereël.
