LEDET launches Marula festival

The 20th edition of the Marula Festival was officially launched at Mall of the North by the Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (Ledet) on Friday, with the Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba unveiling the highly anticipated event.
Ledet MEC Tshitereke Matibe said that since the inauguration of the seventh administration under Ramathuba, Limpopo has recorded measurable and encouraging growth in tourism and the broader provincial economy. "Our visitor numbers continue to rise, and investment in hospitality and leisure has strengthened. Over the past three weeks, accommodation has been fully booked due to the events that have taken place," Matibe said.
