Plans for town's new civic plaza revealed

A new civic plaza and events space is set to be created in Erskine to help provide a focal point for the community.

The project is the first phase of a wider framework for enhancements within the town centre that Renfrewshire Council has developed with local residents and community groups.

Bringing into use vacant land at Erskine Sports Centre, the new plaza will create a meeting space for local people which could also be used to accommodate local events and market stalls.
