McMenamin says Robbo's experience can lift Saints out of their unlucky run

Conor McMenamin insists boss Stephen Robinson will keep St Mirren on the straight and narrow despite another gut-wrenching defeat.

The Buddies are without a win in six Premiership games after Callum McGregor blasted Celtic to a 1-0 victory deep into injury time on Saturday night.

It was cruel on Saints with Hoops boss Martin O'Neill admitting his side would have barely deserved a point from this clash.

However, it was the Buddies who emerged with nothing except plaudits for a strong performance.

Attention now turns towards attempting to clinch a first league win in two months at Dundee next Saturday.

And McMenamin is confident the tide will turn because they have been in this movie before.
