Work starts to revive iconic fountains on quay

BIDEFORD’S long-dormant quayside fountains are flowing back into the spotlight, with major renovation works now underway to revive the once-celebrated feature.

Torridge District Council says refurbishment work has begun on the Bideford Quay fountains, originally installed in 2002 to mark the late Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee.
