Coffee shop in running for being 'best in world'

A POPULAR Greater Manchester cafe is in the running to be crowned one of the 'best' coffee shops in the world.
Something More Productive in Withington
Something More Productive in Withington has been shortlisted in The World's Best Coffee Shops ranking for 2026.
The official list will be announced in February at Coffee Fest in Madrid following a period of public voting and expert reviews based on quality, experience, and sustainability. Last year's winner was Roby's Estate Coffee Roasters in Sydney, Australia.
A number of other Greater Manchester venues have also made the cut and could pick up the award. Atrium Coffee Roasters, tucked away inside 1 St Peter's Square in the city centre, is also in the running, while Sale Moon's cosy coffee bar on Northenden Road is also in contention, as are the Northern Quarter's Siop Shop and Just Between Friends.
