BRENTFORD head coach Keith Andrews is confident of retaining his key players during January and backed the club to make “really sensible decisions” over any new signings.

The Bees sit ninth in the table following a goalless draw with Tottenham on New Year's Day, which saw the transfer window open again.

Defender Kristoffer Ajer has been linked with a move to Wolfsburg, while Brentford are reported to be tracking Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber.
