DRIVING AT ILLEGAL GATHERING COULD HAVE 'MAIMED OR KILLED' PEOPLE

- By BEN MITCHELL

Car meeting 'put lives at risk'

SHOCKING footage has shown “reckless and dangerous” driving at an illegal car meet which could have “maimed or killed” the crowd watching.

Video footage captured the moment a white BMW drifted around a roundabout as hundreds of people crowded round to watch, including some on the middle of the roundabout.

Toby Clarkson, of London Road in Mickleham, has been sentenced for dangerous driving after he was captured on CCTV at the car meet in Southampton on September 21.
