Extras on hit cop show keep North heart attack victim alive with CPR
TWO extras in police series Blue Lights helped save a Belfast heart attack victim by giving him CPR after being mistaken for real cops.
Frances Mitchell and Tiarnan McGarrity, who both have first aid training, were dressed as officers for filming.
They had no time to explain they were just actors in the BBC1 drama's supporting cast when members of the public called on them to help.
