KATIE Price says her marriage to Peter Andre ended because he wrongly accused her of having an affair with her dressage trainer.

The former glamour model spoke for the first time about the breakdown of her four-year marriage to the singer, saying: "It wasn't mutual at all." She also reveals how she would love to put old wounds to bed with Peter, 52, but has not sat down with him since they split in May 2009.

Speaking to relationship expert Paul C Brunson on his We Need to Talk podcast, Katie, 46, also discusses her drug use and mental health struggles, including an attempt at suicide.

And the mum-of-five revealed she feared for her life during three separate kidnap attempts aimed at her and her family. But despite everything, she says she would like another baby - even if she has to do it on her own.

Katie already had her first child, Harvey, with footballer Dwight Yorke, when she met Peter on 2004's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The pair married the following year and had two children, Junior and Prin- HING cess, now 19 and 17.

But cracks began to show in the marriage.

Katie recalls: "He thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider - I've never slept with him.

"I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he was married. But Pete used to keep saying: 'That's it. I've had enough.

"It got to a point where I went 'Well f***ing divorce me." Recalling the day news of their split broke, Katie said: "I flew to the Maldives with the kids. That day, I'm at the airport, it's all on Sky News. It wasn't mutual at all.

"And then I've redone a statement saying I don't want to split with Pete, it's Pete that's splitting with me.
