The Kolkata police Saturday arrested the security guard of a law college in the city in connection with the alleged rape of a 24-year-old student inside its campus on Wednesday.

This is the fourth arrest in the case. “We have arrested a security guard of the college,” said Rupesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime. He has been identified as Pinaki Banerjee, a resident of Khardaha who was on duty when the crime took place inside the college.In her complaint, a copy of which is with The Indian Express, the survivor had alleged that she was raped inside the guard room after the security
