"Sangareddy, Indian chronicle correspondent March 12:""The newly elected public representatives should have complete understanding of the Panchayat Raj and Municipal Acts, said State Minister for Medical, Health, Family Welfare, Science and Technology Damodar Rajanarsimha.

"On Thursday, the Minister attended the Prajapalana-Pragati Plan 99-day Action Plan Awareness Conference organized for the newly elected municipal chairpersons, village sarpanches and councilors under the leadership of District Collector P. Pravinya at the Kandi L.N. Convention Hall in Sangareddy district as the chief guest."

"Speaking on the occasion, Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha said... Every public representative has the goal of developing his village and town, and for this, he should develop his awareness of the Panchayat Raj, Municipal and Forest Department Acts. He said that the 99-day action plan of the Prajapalana-Pragati Plan undertaken by the state government has been formulated into five phases and ten points. Minister Damodar called for the success of the Prajapalana-Pragati Plan program to be held from March 6 to June 12. He said that gram sabhas will be held in villages and ward sabhas in towns from April 2 next month. He suggested that public representatives should attend gram sabhas and work hard to ensure that government schemes reach the real beneficiaries."
