Fash boost as star set to face Leeds

HULL FC will welcome back Brad Fash for Friday's Super League clash at Leeds Rhinos. The forward has been out with a calf issue for the last five games but now offers John Cartwright's side a timely boost ahead of the trip to Headingley.

Fash brings Hull an option to both the prop and back row positions - with injuries to Jed Cartwright, Jordan Lane, Oliver Holmes, and Liam Watts hampering the side in recent weeks. Harvey Barron should also be okay to feature. The winger left the field at Magic Weekend with a bang to the hip but has come through training so far this week.

Cartwright said: "Brad will be available this week, but that's probably the only one who will be coming back. Harvey should be alright. He trained today. We'll just see how he pulls up on Thursday, but we think he'll be okay."
