Blues boss Chris is mapping route to join Toon in big time

CHRIS DAVIES admits today's FA Cup showdown with Newcastle is the type of game ambitious Birmingham want to become the norm - but warned they have to earn it.

The Blues are League One leaders and unbeaten since November heading into today's fourthround clash at St Andrew's.

Things are equally positive off the pitch, with a staggering £3bn revamp in the pipeline, which includes a new 62,000 capacity stadium.

And just this week, ambitious chairman Tom Wagner announced plans for a £20m tunnel to go under the Second City to transport fans to the new ground.
