Vegas playing dangerous game over desert duels

CANELO ALVAREZ and Terence Crawford will look to reignite a love affair for Las Vegas and boxing next weekend.

The fight capital of the world has been battling it out with the Middle East petrobillions to stage the biggest and best bouts.

Alvarez remains the last huge draw bringing the big crowds to the Strip for the sweet science.

But even the Mexican is now in bed with Saudi Arabia and Turki Alalshikh, who are bankrolling next weekend's undisputed super-middleweight showdown with Crawford.

His last fight was in Saudi, but he insisted this one - which will be the biggest of his deal with Riyadh Season and SELA - had to be in Sin City for Mexican Independence Day celebrations.
