Itoje warns over Russell focus

SOMEFINN TO THINK ABOUT

MARO ITOJE has told his England team-mates not to get sidetracked by the Finn Russell show in tomorrow's Calcutta Cup clash.

As expected, Russell was passed fit to play at Twickenham after coming through his concussion protocols following a head clash with team-mate Darcy Graham in their game with Ireland on February 9.

But England lock George Martin is out of the match with a knee issue so Bath's Ted Hill comes in on the bench.

Wing Graham is also missing but Russell, England's tormentor-in-chief in four straight Scotland wins over the Auld Enemy, is back.

imageHaving the talismanic Russell back is a huge boost for Scotland, who have not lost in this fixture since 2020, though England have been planning for him.
