WARRINGTON Ratchford ace Stefan contemplated retiring - but is now planning to make history in Las Vegas.

The decorated ex-England player turns 37 in the summer.

Before signing a new 12-month deal last July, he revealed he wondered if enough was enough.

Then, when Ratchford copped a horrendous facial injury just days later, suffering 11 fractures and being unable to eat solids for a month, you would think he would want to tear up the contract.

No longer a regular in Sam Burgess' side, it would have been the easy option, but the versatile back is made of sterner stuff.
