'Sick' Maguire can inspire colleagues says Amorim

RUBEN AMORIM has challenged his Manchester United players to empty the tank and run themselves into the ground like Harry Maguire did against Arsenal.

Maguire had to come off in extra time on Sunday because he was feeling ill as United's 10 men dumped Arsenal out of the FA Cup on penalties.

Amorim hopes the England defender will be ready for another iron-man performance against Southampton tonight at Old Trafford and says he wants his other United players to follow his example and show the same character.

Maguire has been immense since the Portuguese resurrected his career after Erik ten Hag binned him and the United boss says he is displaying real leadership.
