THE Bondi Beach attack was “meticulously planned” for “many months”, police believe.

The gunmen also hoped to kill even more people with bombs - including one hidden in a tennis ball, court papers claim.

The ball and pipe bombs were removed from the suspects’ motor at the Sydney tourist hotspot where 1,000 people were celebrating the Jewish Hanukkah festival of lights, it was said.
