Bird of rare beauty back

Ospreys are just so versatile. Their diet is almost exclusively fish, which means they don't really have to compete for food pod with other birds of prey (except sea-eagles).

Other birds generally tolerate their presence too and tend not to attack and kick them out of places. In fact some very small birds sometimes nest close to ospreys for protection.

It's a mutual agreement as the little birds can warn of crows and ravens, who to try to eat osprey eggs on occasion.
