Mystery as Aiden blames local for accident

- BY RORY CASSIDY

A SCOT gunned down by a drug dealer in Thailand has claimed the shooter owes him money.

Aiden McDonald, 25, had been on his motorbike when he was shot on Tuesday.

The gunman - also on a motorbike - blasted him in the arm after a crash outside a hotel in the Mae Hong Son province.

Aiden's attacker 40-year-old local man Kitinan Pantarak - then took him to hospital for treatment.

Aiden, from Dundee, who was released after receiving treatment for his injuries, told the Record how his attacker was in debt to him and blamed him for the crash.

He said: "The Thai crashed into me. He owes me money."

Police investigating the incident revealed Pantarak has been charged with attempted murder.
