JAKE WIGHTMAN admits he's flying blind into the world athletics championships after missing out on the big occasions since 2022.

With the showpiece starting on Saturday in Tokyo, the Scot is applying the finishing touches ahead of his first global outing since picking up the world title over 1500 metres three years ago.
