NORWEGIAN hitman Eythor Bjorgolfsson has revealed his excitement about how the football culture in Scotland drove his move to Motherwell.

The 25-year-old signed for the Steelmen earlier this month following the expiry of his contract at Swedish side Umea.

The former Seattle Sounders star delivered a debut assist in last weekend's 4-0 home Premiership victory over Kilmarnock, which made it six straight home wins to keep Jens Berthel Askou’s side fourth in the table.

Speaking ahead of the trip to take on bottom side Livingston this afternoon, Bjorgolfsson said: “There was a lot of teams from all over that were interested in me. And then, as soon as Motherwell came in it was just ‘wow’.
