Cancer-stricken Adrian enjoys family reunion after we sort out visa wrangle
A TERMINALLY ill dad has spent a perfect "last Christmas" with his family after visa red tape threatened to keep them apart.
DJ Adrian O'Grady, 42, was told he was suffering from stage four colon cancer earlier this month after having to fly to Glasgow without his partner Yanti, 39, and four-year-old daughter, Chloe, who live in Bali.
He told the Record how he feared having to spend what could be his last Christmas apart from his loved ones as Chloe's fast-track visa application| remained "stuck in limbo" three weeks on.
But just hours after we revealed Adrian's plight, the youngster's tourist visa was rubber stamped by the Home Office and the family enjoyed a tearful reunion at Glasgow Airport last week.
And yesterday they spent Christmas day surrounded by loved ones.
